My name is Matt and I am going to tell you what I think about LG 42LV4400. Recently, I have been reading a lot of articles about TVs and made my own list of best TVs.
I found out that there’s no best TV, unless you are prepared to pay $10,000 or more and even then – they are not really perfect… but there are good enough TVs that perfectly suits mine, and hopefully other people’s needs.
So, as I’ve already said, I did quite a lot of research, and I truly believe that LG 42LV4400 HDTV is one of the best TVs for the money. I am certainly not going to tell you that it’s the best thing that I have ever seen, because I want to sell it or something like that, but I am going to give you a honest and real review from someone who used this product. Also, I am not going to talk only about good things, I am going to mention some bad things about this TV, just to make this review a little bit more interesting for you to read and help you to make a good decision before buying a new TV.
LG 42LV4400 Review – Specs
So first of all, let’s talk a little bit about specs of this HDTV.
- LG’s LED technology provides you a slim profile and delivers unbelievable brightness, clarity as well as good color detail and greater energy efficiency compared to other LCD TVs on the market at the moment.
- New TruMotion 120Hz technology lets you see high-speed action, sports with virtually no motion blur at all.
- Full HD 1080p gives it very good picture quality over regular HDTV. Even more, it has image contras ratio of 100000:1. You’ll see colors and small details like never before.
- You can choose from three different LG 42LV4400 HDTV models: 42-Inch 47-Inch or 55-Inch. Obviously, I suggest buying a bigger one, because the bigger your TV will be, the more fun and enjoyment you will experience.
My experience after using LG 42LV4400 for awhile.
When I first got my hands on this LG 42LV4400 HDTV I thought that I made a huge mistake! The screen just did not look right to me… What a terrible experience! I was going to get a refund and buy another TV… You know what should you do if that happens to you? Turn OFF the ENERGY SAVING MODE! I was so happy when I did that! So just make sure that you do that, OK?
So… I can only say one thing about this after watching some sports (of course, after turning of the damn energy saving mode) – amazing! It truly delivers what they promised. It’s very smooth and I can see everything clearly indeed. No blurring. I love that.
Playing video games on LG 42LV4400 is the best experience I could hope for. I just plugged in my XBOX 360 and set it’s output to 1080p to the HDTV. Never seen anything nicer than Skyrim, Madden 12, Halo Reach, Deadspace 2. It’s really amazing. These games are beautiful in 1080P and play with literally zero lag on the Game setting.
